Bee wax
It is the world’s first natural polymeric fat-based product. It is produced by worker bees in the wax glands. The wax is used by bees to form their own “micro rooms” – honeycombs where they hold honey and pollens, matures bee bread. Honeycoms are alswo where eggs hatch and bees grow up. Due to its unique properties, it is impervious to electricity and water and is environmentally resistant. It is almost non-perishable, is ductile, fluffy, melts easily. It has been widely used by people in the household and in warfare. Now bee wax can be used in food industry, pharmacology, perfumery as a technical material and in the production of bee wax candles.
