FAMILIES OF HONEYBEES

On request every year we form and sell the families of honeybees.
This year we are planning to have both young and older families.
The new family consists of five Langstroth-Rut frames, larvae, food and young prolific queen bee.
Around Midsummer Day the families are fully ready for sale. A pre-registration is required for those who want to buy. You have to pay at least 30% of the price in advance. Without payment, we do not guarantee the formation of families.
You have to take the families at the agreed time. The older families are the young families formed in July of last year. They are fed and treated during the winter. In the spring, they are tested. Such family consists of around 8-10 honeybees and queen using Langstroth-Rut frames. These families go to the new apiaries around on May 10. The families will become fully strong until summer and will be ready to make honey.
